Getting around

Nagercoil Junction and Kanyakumari station connect to Tirunelveli, Madurai, Chennai and Kerala, and NH 44 ends here. Thiruvananthapuram airport in Kerala is about two hours away and Thoothukudi airport about two and a half. Town buses cover Nagercoil, and the district's roads are good but winding in the hills.
